Soccer Camp FAQ

+ When will I get the pre-camp info?

You will receive a detailed pre-camp email about 48 hours prior to the start of your program.

+ What time do camps typically run?

Most camp locations offer a 9am-12pm half day and a 9am-4pm full day. Many also offer a mini camp for young players (typically from 9:15-10:30am). Some locations offer an evening camp, times vary. Each camp's time is specified when registering.

+ What does my child need to bring to camp?

All players should bring a ball, shin guards, water bottle and snack. Full-day campers should also bring a packed lunch. Lunch is not provided.

+ What should my child wear?

Players should arrive dressed in athletic clothing, appropriate for the forecasted weather.

+ Does my child need cleats?

For outdoor camps, cleats are recommended but not necessary. Cleats are expensive but worth the investment if your child plans to continue playing. About half of the players on our camps wear gym shoes. For indoor camps, we often use hardwood floor so gym shoes or turf shoes are required.

+ When will I receive the merchandise I purchased?

All merchandise is ordered directly from European Sports. They will deliver it directly to you. Should you need assistance you can contact them at (847)490-9000.

+ What is your inclement weather policy?

We try to avoid canceling camps unless absolutely necessary. We endeavor to set-up all of our camps at facilities that will allow us to safely shelter all players if needed. We will continue to play in light rain and may seek shelter if the rain persists. We will immediately clear the field for a storm. We'll shelter and supervise players until the weather improves and we can return to play.

+ Can my child be in a group with their friend/sibling?

We pre-assign players to groups based on their age. We understand that your child may wish to switch and we will support this as far as possible. All group switches will be dealt with on-site on the first day of camp with the camp director.
