COVID-19 UPDATES & PRECAUTIONS
Summer Camps are coming up!
*UPDATED 6/21*
Despite a challenging 2020 Summer season, we managed to deliver camps safely and effectively to
over fourteen-hundred children across the midwest.
We learnt many lessons but none more important than fresh air, physical activity, and social interaction are paramount to keeping children healthy: physically and mentally.
We don't know what Summer 2021 will hold but we do know that we'll be planned and prepared to bring a safe and structured camp experience to your child. In the run-up to Summer we will keep ourselves abreast of all guidance from the CDC, the State Dept. of Public Health and the State Youth Soccer Association to ensure we are compliant with all published guidelines.
We do know that many families will still be nervous about sending their child to a group setting, so we'll plan to offer a distanced camp experience for anyone that would like that option.
At this stage, we can guarantee a couple things to ease your mind:
Similar to 2020, we will offer a no-questions-asked refund policy on all of our camps. This guarantees a full refund of your camp fee up to seven days prior to the beginning of camp.
We will continue to use separate entry and check-in points for each group.
We will not allow any interaction between groups within the camp outside of their competition groups.
We will ask all parents to comply with a health screener and code of conduct pertaining to their child's health.
All camps will have sanitation measures in-place: abundant hand sanitizer, regularly cleaned equipment, coach health checks.
P2 Soccer training will abide by the local health authorities regulations pertaining to youth sports at the time of any given camp/program.
Precautions From P2
We will strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and mandates published by local and state government as well as the CDC

Coaches will be trained on all safety procedures

P2 Staff will wear a face-covering during check in, and departure when interacting with parents
Players WILL NOT be asked to wear a face covering while in their area playing, but can choose to wear a face-covering if desired

Coaches and players will not switch between their competition groups
Camp groups will not mingle or interact with other groups
Campers will check in and out directly with their coach (no central check-in/out)

Precautions EXPECTED From Parents
BEFORE:
Parents should stay up to date with our COVID-19 protocols leading up to their child(ren)’s camp
Parents will take their child(ren)’s temperature each day before camp, only allowing their child(ren) to attend camp if their temperature is below 100.4° (if their child(ren)’s temperature is ever above 100.4° that child should receive medical advice from a professional before returning to camp).

Players should arrive to camp with all of their equipment on and ready to play
Players must arrive to camp with their own ball and equipment, including enough water to last the day

Players should arrive to camp and visit the bathroom with their parent if needed, bathroom breaks will be minimized throughout the camp
Players should have a face covering available to use should they need to visit the restroom at any point throughout the day
THROUGHOUT THE PROGRAM:
